One and a Hundred belongs to Derek Tan (@ dunnodt) very first personal online project. His intention was pure, plain and simple - to capture the beauty of panorama pictures using only a simple mobile device - the Sony Ericson Walkman, W880i handphone.
In his thoughts, many have oversees this function which has been laying silent and faithfully in the device, waiting to amaze their users. Hence, this project aims to showcase 100 panorama pictures captured using this single mobile device, which in this case, gave rise to the title of this project - One and a Hundred.
"These pictures were taken to represent my sight at each specific moment. Yes, they were not flawless as one can obviously notice the bridging gaps between the 3 images within a panorama shoot. But with practices and abit of luck, some were taken very neatly. It's not so much about the flaws in these pictures, it's the honesty of this function - to combine three separate shots into a single panorama image... and the reason why it still exists as one of the available shooting modes in your handphone. Enjoy..."
